Make a Quick Card with the Block Party Set | Dana Kirby

Hi Friends! It's Dana here today and I am back with a card that uses the Block Party Stencils and Die set. This set is easy to use and makes a fun graphic card in minutes- the hardest part is deciding what colors to use! I love that it can be used to make a more masculine card too.

How to recreate this card:

1. Prepare an A2 side-fold card base and three A2 card panels from white cardstock.

2. Ink blend the Block Party Stencils on one of the A2 card panels.

• Stencil 1: Turquoise
• Stencil: Grassy Knoll
• Stencil 3: Sweet Mustard
• Stencil 4: Apricot

*I chose to skip stencil 5 and leave the spaces white.

3. Use the Block Party die and your two white panels to die cut your card panel (two times). *I used a metal shim to easily get a clean cut. 

4. Glue your two die cut panels together with liquid glue and then attach your die cut panels to your ink blended panel. *Stacking the die cuts gives your card added dimension and interest.

5. Use the Heartfelt Chapters stamp set to stamp your sentiment with Detail Black ink.

6. Die cut your sentiment with the Heartfelt Chapters die. Also, die cut a second sentiment with black cardstock and off set it behind your stamped sentiment to create a shadow. *This helps your sentiment to not get "lost" on your card layout.

7. Attach your sentiment with foam adhesive to finish your card.
