Create a Cozy Fall Scene with Peaceful Pause | Dana Kirby

Hi friends! It's Dana here today and I back with a card that uses the Peaceful Pause product suite. This set creates a relaxing scene for summer, though by changing your color choices it can also be used to create a card more appropriate for fall. It has been unseasonably hot here the last few weeks, so creating this card has definitely had me dreaming of lying in a hammock on a nice cool fall day! You are going to love the versatility of this set along with all of the relaxing scene building images it includes.

How to recreate this card:

1. Prepare a side folding A2 card base and two A2 card panel from white cardstock.

2. Use the Peaceful Pause stamp set to stamp your image onto the white card panel with detail black ink.

3. Add color to your stamped images with the Peaceful Pause stencils.

• Stencil 1: Sunkissed, Sage, Slumber
• Stencil 2: Mimosa, Eucalyptus 
• Stencil 3: Mango Sorbet, Spruce Tips
• Stencil 4: Sweet Mustard
• Stencil 5: Mango Sorbet, Slumber (heavy handed)
• Stencil 6: Doe

4. Die cut the stenciled images with the Peaceful Pause die. 

5. Lightly ink blended your (second) card panel with Slumber and Eucalyptus ink. Focus your blending more around the edges and across the top keeping your center mostly white. 

6. Attach your stenciled scene to your ink blended panel with foam adhesive. Trim the panel down to 5.25 x 4 inches.

7. Use the Peaceful Pause stamp set to stamp your sentiment directly onto your panel with Stargazer ink. 

8. Attach the small picnic images to the bottom of your card to complete your scene. 

9. Adhere your completed scene to your A2 card base to finish your card.
