Little Layers of Happiness Layout | Karlla Dauer

Hello Pinkfresh friends. Karlla here and I'm so glad to share new project with you.

There’s something so special about giving everyday memories a fresh start, and the "Fresh Start" collection by Pinkfresh Studio was perfect for capturing this happy little moment. With its beautiful mix of soft florals, playful patterns, and cheerful colors, the collection inspired me to create a layered composition full of dimension and delicate details.

For this layout, I combined patterned papers, fussy-cut elements, floral embellishments, and a favorite photo to create a light and joyful page celebrating one of those simple moments that gives us another reason to be happy.

Step-by-Step Instructions: 

1. Cut two strips of scalloped paper.
2. Overlap the strips over the green checkered base paper with a space of approximately 1" on the right side.
3. Cut a white 8.5"x11,5" cardstock
4. With the pink patterned paper, cut 8x10.5" and glue it onto the white cardstock.
5. Sew along the edges of this base.
6. With foam tape, add this base created over the background of the layout, leaving about half an inch on the left side and at the top and bottom.
7. With three layers of foam tape, stick the photo onto the base.
8. Cut out two polaroids of floral images (one from the 12x12 paper and a smaller one from the 6x8 Paper Pack).
9. The bigger one sticks with two layers of foam tape under the photo, and the smaller one on top of the photo.
10. With Floral Ephemera (Crafted Moments and Fresh Start Collections), arrange the flowers around the photo and the Polaroids. You can use layers of foam tape and glue to find the ideal height for you.
11. Cut out small lemons from the Crafted Moments patterned paper and add them onto the base with foam tape.
12. Add more of the butterflies for embellishments.
13. Glue some Ephemera and Cardstock Stickers accessories.
14. Finish with enamel shapes.
